Motivating words
A few weeks ago Karen and I watched a video of one of my favorite authors (Kelly Corrigan) recite an excerpt from her 2010 Glamour magazine essay. This is a few years old but we just came across it and wanted to share.
It’s been sooooo cold here in Ohio, winter really set in at a time that Karen and I needed to be motivated. And this video helped!
It was a reminder that we took a leap of faith starting up the Boutique. And we are happy we did, so we are going to continue to give this endeavor 110%!
It’s easy to get into a rut or to be afraid to make a change in your life. But sometimes listening to someone or watching something will spark inspiration.
WE dare you…
This weekend’s weather forecast isn’t so bad (for Cleveland)…
We swear this is actually pretty good… The temperature won’t be 5 below and it won’t be snowing! YAY
Dress warm and come visit us at our booth this weekend!

Very inspiring video message – you two have really done it and done if right – I’m glad someone dared you because I have lots of nice things as a result. See you this weekend Salvaged Boutique.
Thank you for ALL of your support, Shan! We are so excited for this weekend 🙂
I have read and re-read The Middle Child and Lift. Love Kelly Corrigan. Glitter and Glue is on my request list at the library. In the words of her dad, George, “I know you will kill them at the show this weekend, lovey”.
The best to you and Karen,

You are truly a class act, La Verne. Thank you! I’m starting Glitter and Glue on Monday. I’ll be happy to pass along once I’m done if the library list is long. -Kathy
