Be a show off!

I love sharing what we do but it’s also nice to hear from all of you. We love when customers send us pictures of their own DIY projects. We LOVE seeing what YOU do.

So we’re having a Wise Owl Paint Contest!

Wise Owl products have become a best seller in our shop and we know many of you are DIY’ers so it’s time to show off your projects.

Here’s what to do…

How to submit your entry:

Post a picture of your project on your Facebook or Instagram page, include a “before” pic if you want but it’s not necessary
Tell us which Wise Owl product(s) you used – and mention the color
Follow us and tag us on Facebook or Instagram! @thesalvagedboutique – be sure to tag us so we can see your entry!

NOTE: Wise Owl Paint products must have been purchased in our store to participate in this contest

Photo Tips:

We love a good, bright, styled photo. Style your Wise Owl Project – for example, if it’s a dresser – add some home decor items on top, if it’s a chair – add a pretty throw over part of it; if it’s a sign you painted, display it on a gallery wall, etc. This is a picture of a styled shoot I did at Mamita’s house (my Mom’s). It does NOT have to be this elaborate. Mamita’s little cottage is just too perfect…so it was easy. 🙂

Take your photo on a bright day and in a room where you get great natural light. Here is an example of great natural lighting. We struggle with good lighting in our shop but our pallet wall is closest to our front window which brings in beautiful natural light and it makes it the perfect spot for photographing items.

No social media account?:

We completely understand that not everyone is on Facebook or Instagram, so if you don’t have a social media account, send it to us via email and you’ll be entered!

The Prize:

Grand Prize – $65 in Wise Owl Products!
Runner Up – $25 in Wise Owl Product!

The Rules:

Up to 2 entries can be submitted per person.
Entries can be submitted from today (Monday, April 24, 2017) until Monday May 8, 2017 at 10pm EST.
We’ll choose two winners and contact them either through social media or email.
Winners must pick up their prize at our store in Lakewood, Ohio
This contest is not affiliated with Facebook or Instagram.
If you submit an entry and tag us you’re kindly giving us permission to use your image(s) – we always give credit so we’ll be sure to tag you in return!

This Wednesday I’ll be sharing information on all of the Wise Owl products we carry including a few new ones. You might be surprised at the variety of products we carry…it’s not just paint.

So if you have a project you’ve been wanting to work on and you want to get in on this Wise Owl Paint contest, now is the time! Stop in for your supplies. We’re open Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 6pm; Friday and Saturday 10am to 4pm. We are fully stocked on Wise Owl products!
