When Karen and I first started The Salvaged Boutique in 2013, we were working out of our homes and blogging. We never felt like there was enough time to get “all the things” done BUT we did have time to style our items and have mini photo shoots.
And then we opened our brick and mortar store and now we can honestly say, we just don’t have the time. We love our store but we’ve learned we can’t do it all!
In comes Bridget of BK Home.
Bridget is a good friend of ours who has a beautiful home in West Park and clearly has a gift for decorating and design. Not only does she blog about her own home projects but she also tours the Northeast Ohio area to tell you all about the amazing home decor finds at local shops and stores.
We recently asked her to collaborate with us and she accepted our offer! We knew Bridget would capture the essence of the decor and gift items we carry at The Salvaged Boutique.
And she sure has. Here are some of her styled photos using products from our store (you’ll also find them in our online shop):
This triple box vase has been popular this spring! You can add a pop of color with florals or go with a more earthy feel with greenery like Bridget styled here.
These metal wall pockets come in white and turquoise and have so many uses so we love the way Bridget styled them to show the diversity – one for condiments and one for hand towels!
We also carry a variety of giftable items in the store. We brought in quite a few items for this wedding season. These coordinating gold handled mugs are perfect for the couple who loves Star Wars – “I love you… I know” was said when Princess Leia finally professes her love for Han Solo. Only a couple sets left in stock!

Here’s one of our favorite rooms in her home!
Doesn’t that just look so cozy?
